I'd like to see U18 player Josh Holliday promoted to the Reserves for the last few games. He's kicked 34 goals from 11 games, scoring in every game. We have a poor record of accelerating the development of young players and with goalkickers at a premium at our club, anyone showing this kind of scoring ability should be fast-tracked.

I agree with you about Holliday. He must play the rest of the yr in the ressies.

Good to see the club promoting some of our youngsters.

Why has Bricknell been dropped? He is one of our best  senior players.

Jimmy is still recovering from his recent shoulder operation.

Aaron Anderson has taken Bricknell's spot IMO. With Green, Anderson x2 and Caire in defence, there really isn't a spot for him. Also the fact that his disposal is of Div 6 Amateur league level doesn't help him either.

What staggers me more is how Birss and Fisher can survive the cut but Stevens can't.

I think some players' futures will be decided on their performances in these last three games.

The majority of our side is now experienced and talented enough, but we need just a bit more class around the footy, IMO.

I also think we have some genuine young talent coming through. For those who aren't as familiar with our younger players, there's severalto watch:

Jess Watchman- mobile 200cm key forward. Draft possibility.

Brett Turner -on-baller, 12 CENTRE clearances last week. Draft chance.

Jack Agostino - small defender, all class and skill.

Kayne Cornish - back after long-term injury, blistering pace.

Aaron Francis - key forward/defender, class player.

Will Snelling - better every Reserves game, good decisions, tackling machine.

Josh Holliday - good marking forward, 34 goals this year, beautiful kick.

Many others, well worth staying after the league game to watch the 18's boys.

I think it's very important over the next 2 years that we start blooding some of our young talent.

We do however need to sign a key forward and a couple of outside Mids.

Would live to see young Tom Carter spend a significant amount of time in the ruck tomorrow.
Think he will be a better ruckman than Nelson going forward

Wow, I made the right call staying home today.
Is Mark Mickan the right coach for 2015????
Right now, we are the worst team in the comp and have gone backwards.

The answer is NO!!!!
I'm sick to death of getting belted off the park too often as was today v Norwood. That performance was pathetic and embarrassing.
For those who keep defending the coach and making excuses for him when we lose are living on another planet.
Unfortunately, we are stuck with him for another 12 months.

Well said Whispy.

I think the damage of another year could be irrepairable.

He kicked another 5 goals yesterday, aldo.

I've seen a lot of him and have been very impressed.
