WEST
West Adelaide coach Mark Mickan has called upon extra height for his teamís contest against the Eagles at City Mazda Stadium on Saturday.
Ruckman Peter Nelson (202cm and 100kg) is one of three additions to the Bloodsí 23-man squad, along with Nick Favretto and Lachlan Jennings.
Nelson could provide valuable support to Ryan Willits in the ruck as West prepares to tackle the formidable pairing of Marc Borholm and Fraser Thurlow.
Speedy utility Graeme Hampton has been sent back to the Reserves, with two more to be trimmed from the extended interchange bench before the bounce.

I honestly don't know how Hommy keeps his spot. He knows how to get the ball but continually gives the damn thing back to the opposition. No value & should be replaced by one of the young brigade once they are available.

He frustrates me.

I agree with you MYP, he is so frustrating & cracks when a bit of pressure is applied & burns the ball. He is very much an outside player & his tackling is non existent. As an outside player, he really needs to hurt the opposition when he gets the ball but he fails to do so.
He needs to be replaced by either Haysman or Snelling who have pace & use the ball well & tackle strongly.

For those who don't know, the channel 7 telecast has been moved to West v Eagles at City Mazda instead of the Panthers v Crows reserves.

II'm not sure its a good idea on a WAFC sanctioned forum that those views should be allowed......comment admin, or are we now allowed to bag players.

An interesting point...I personally don't like to do it, but I do find myself asking similar questions from time to time.
"Those views" were posted with a basis to the criticism, which could be argued against, and is therefore probably okay. I think the warning "the players read this forum too", as I've seen before, is a sufficient disincentive.
