We meet Jono first up then. Who will be assigned to him I wonder?

It's disappointing there's no night home games scheduled - they were always my preferred time slot.

Interesting that we have a country game at Berri round 21 on a Sunday.

JCL, I don't mind night games either, especially early in the season when it is warm however our crowds at night games have continually reduced over recent years as a result of a few reasons.

Older supporters don't like them as they finish quite late & other family supporters are reluctant to bring their kids for the same reason. All we need is inclement weather on those occasions & night games suffer much more than day games. Also night games have a negative impact on our bar & licensed club as many people don't hang around after 10.30-11pm to spend a few dollars. On Day games they are usually happy to stick around for an hour or two.

We have to try whatever we can to maintain (at minimum) & build our crowds. Feedback from some supporters is that they would prefer to go back to all Saturday afternoon SANFL games regardless of AFL clashes. This could be dangerous at times throughout the season.

It is a big balancing act to satisfy all parties.

Hope we get the home change rooms for the Berri game. The away rooms aren't that flash. Waikerie and Renmark oval facilities much better.

It's a strange draw. In round 8 we play North at home, then we have Norwood, then a Bye due to State game, Central round 10, then a bye and then North again at Prospect round 12.

We only play 2 other clubs before meeting North the second time.

I am lovin the night games as well JCL.

Its a good thing we are such great mates with the WT Council otherwise who ever developed the business case for investment into the lights would surely be under the pump!!!
