So anyone know much about Lydon Huplfed apart from what is in the link? Did he play mostly reserves or league for Norwood?

Caught up with a Norwood trainer at a friends dinner party yesterday and he says that Norwood throwing their hat in the ring for Beechy. I hope the club is doing EVERYTHING to ensure Beech returns back to the Bloods!! Also said Norwood was shocked that Huplfed left the Legs. Says he topped their Ressies goal kicking in his 1st season depite playing ressies and U18s. They wanted him to work on forward defence so played him in the backline last season and had a break out year in the backs. With the retirements they had at the end of the season said he would be playing league in their forward line. Reckons Huplfed kicks straight and no probs to hit em from the 50 arc. Glad he is with us - well done to the recruitment team.
Now PLEASE let's get pen to paper with Beech- has to be a priority!!

The club will announce more signings very soon.

I'm confident all 3 have or will sign.

Hearing that Port Players - Sharrad, Gray and Rudloff will all sign with the Eagles.
Glenelg have Luke Reynolds and ex North player Amato.
Would be disappointing if we were unable to attract any of these players....

Well done to the recruitment team. I am sure there a more to follow once the AFL draft is complete and we can look forward to the season ahead. We are off to a great start.

We certainly lacked depth in the Ruck department, we have 2 young ruckmen now vying for a spot in the league side. Both of them will take time to develop. It also means Webb can spend more time up forward which we need him to do.

I wouldn’t think they would get a huge amount out of CHRIS with his dodgy knee. It appears that he will be commuting from Sydney so I doubt whether he will be overly fit. Always a risk but good luck to our former captain. We still love him & he will always be welcome visitor at the home of the Bloods!!!!

Probably didn't need to be said. I would be disappointed if I was Chris and I read that. Shocked Shocked Shocked

ST, Chris confessed late last season that his knee was shot & he was really struggling to continue to play on so I was really basing the comments on his own disclosure & feelings about his body.

He is a big enough & smart enough not to be offended by that critique.

I naturally wish him the very best of course.
