As with games, who are the players you remember most, and why?

Lee

Scott Simister he was a sensational player who could take a sensational mark. I will never forget the mark he took at Football Park against Port Adelaide that won us the game.

Couldn’t agree more with Lachlan!!!
Simister was a gun. The type of player that could do anything.
Pity he only played 3 seasons. Dominated the WAFL after that.
Roger Luders was spectacular!
Luke Norman and Dean Howard were tough nuts that crashed packs and hurt the opposition.
Fergy was a great leader and was a very courageous player.

I must admit to being bias given I am the vice president of the Tim Symes fan club (Lee H is president). 10 years at center half forward when SANFL was a hard competition.

Another great was Edd Richardson --- hard as nails --- fearless --- rarely beaten and could play all key positions down the middle

Old Fella

I couldn’t agree with you more Tim Symes was a fantastic player and very underrated. To play basically 200 games at CHF is a magnificent performance, he didn’t get the accolades he deserved. Yes another FAVOURITE player of mine. If he played for Port or Norwood he would have been noticed a lot more.

As for Ed Richardson yet another all time FAVOURITE of mine. He could play any key position and I was surprised that he wasn’t given another opportunity at AFL Level after he left Richmond and came to us. Once again he would be another who would walk into any AFL side now. He gave 100% every time he played. He was fearless.
