I'll chuck in another name (forgotten, I'd guess), that might have had a Dutch or German origin.

Anyone remember Hans Haystraten?

Hans was Dutch and came from the ST Marys football club in Darwin .In the late 70's and early 80's several players came from Darwin and played with Westies . Can you name them .

I remember both well. Tom could kick the ball a mile off of one or two steps.

I've been going through seasons in the 90's.

Who remembers Simon Howe?

Does anyone remember a Reserves player named Bell?

For quiz purposes, which season did Adam Richardson miss most games with injury? His first or his last?

Which good West player of the 90's had the same surname as a SANFL Chairman?

I think the answer to the last question is Brebner, though I can't recall the player's first name.

I remember Simon Howe but can't place a Reserves player called Bell.
Simply by the nature of the question I'm guessing Richo missed more games in his first season.

Correct about Richo. Re Bell, I can't remember him either, Chris Barrett mentioned him.

Which Reserves player from the 70s, predominantly a CHF, who never played a League game, won a national long-kicking competition conducted by a US gridiron team and, I believe, went to the US to try out?
